OnePlus Nord is all set to launch with six cameras, quad cameras on the rear and two cameras on the front, the company has officially confirmed. Ahead of the launch of the much-awaited affordable phone on July 21, OnePlus has revealed or rather confirmed the hardware specifications of the camera setup on the Nord.

Samsung Galaxy M31s Launch Previously, it was speculated that the Samsung Galaxy M31s would launch later this month and would begin shipping from August 6. The Amazon India has put to rest these speculations by confirming the launch date for July 30 at 12 PM. The price and availability are expected to be reveal.

REDMI NOTE 9 SPECIFICATIONS

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a 6.53-inch display with a Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) and a punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner for the selfie camera. The screen is topped with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection against drops and the phone is built with water-repellent coating. It measures 8.9mm at its thickest point and weighs 199 grams. 

The Note 9 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G52 GPU. This is paired with upto 4GB RAM and 128GB storage options to choose from with an option to expand the storage further by adding a microSD card. It runs on MIUI 11 out-of-the-box which is based on MIUI 11.

It comes with a quad-camera setup on the back which is positioned in the top centre, accompanied by a fingerprint reader. The Redmi Note 9 features a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 118-degree field-of-view, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor supported by an LED flash. The rear cameras can record in 1080p at 30FPS. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera housed within the punch-hole display that can also record in 1080p at 30FPS.

The Note 9 comes with the basic set of sensors and connectivity features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 along with USB Type-C connector to charge the battery. It comes with a 5,020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and comes with 22.5W adapter out-of-the-box.

 REDMI NOTE 9 PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 starts at Rs 11,999 in India for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The other variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 13,499 while the maxed-out variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 14,999. It comes in three colours-- Aqua Green, Pebble Grey and Arctic White.

The Redmi Note 9 goes on sale in India from July 24 on Amazon India, Mi India store, Mi Homes and offline Mi verified retailers.

Samsung is gearing up for its August 5 Galaxy Unpacked event.

 The company has confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 2 alongside the Galaxy Note series. Earlier, some features of Galaxy Z Fold 2 came to the fore and it was said that the device would not be launched in the event due to software issues.

But now the company has given the confirmation about the launch via a posting a butterfly logo on its social media platform which is used for the Galaxy Fold series. It is learned that the launch will be held at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5. Although the launch date was revealed in the post, no name was given. However, the company used the tag 'A new look unfolds', from which it has been confirmed that it is the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The logo has appeared in Mystic Bronze color. The Samsung Unpacked 2020 event will be held at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast live on Samsung Global Newsroom and Samsung.com. At the event, the company is also expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Tab S7.
